Three years ago, I was a chode with no vision for greatness and no idea of where I wanted to go in life. I was instilled with this plan of going to a nerdy school, getting a degree in Computer Science, and earning a living in technology to support my future family.
Then, the first steps towards an amazing adventure happened: I talked to an Army Recruiter and enlisted. I’m not saying that you should join the Army to become successful but, for my own personal development, it was one of the early steps that get the ball rolling–it was one of the first things to break me out of my comfort zone. It eventually became a three year journey into personal development that is still on going.
If I followed my original idea, I would be almost graduating this year with a degree in computers, but my life would not be this fun and I would not know who I am–I would be a social robot with no identity.
I now know what my values are, what I am passionate about, how the world works, and HOW TO GET GOOD AT ANYTHING–I have the foundations to become successful at ANYTHING I want.
